Gems of California: Montello Tasting Room in Cambria on the Central Coast

Happiness is tasting heavenly, flavorful olive oils and stuffed olives on a recent visit to the delightful, locally owned and operated Montello Tasting Room in the charming oceanside town of Cambria on the central coast (about a four-hour drive south of the Bay Area).

It was such a pleasure to meet the wonderful couple who created this gem and taste their beautiful creations made with California-grown olives sourced from award-winning producers. The oils are certified extra virgin through the California Olive Oil Council. We highly recommend a visit. 💖

Tuscan Herb is the most popular infused oil. We loved the jalapeño and habanero-infused oils too. And definitely check out the parmesan-stuffed olives. 😋

Tastings are free and the oils are affordably priced (oils are less than $13; olives are less than $10). They make excellent gifts (just took some to a get together)!
